Mackenna’s been excited all week about kindy. She wakes up, gets dressed and then asks if she’s late for kindy. Today is her 3 day week (C and K have 5 day fortnights), I know tomorrow there’s going to be tears because there’s no kindy and swimming isn’t even going to excite her. We arrived early this morning (first car there) and even before I’d turned the car off she was trying to escape. I did manage to get a photo of her before we got to the gate she ran to the gate.
After signing in, putting her lunch away and removing shoes Mackenna and Viveca were off to one of the activity tables.
Being the lovely sister that she is Mackenna showed Viveca how to do a few puzzles while I found a safe place for the baby capsule. In the last 3 days Mackenna has produced a large quantity of art so don’t be surprised if you receive your birthday gifts wrapped in one of her pretty creations.
Mr Opoes and I are happy that Mackenna is loving kindy especially after all the tears we had last year at day-care. Today she didn’t even hear us say good-bye she was busy talking to Lilly.
